Emitter

Struct Emitter

Source
pub struct Emitter<'a, OutF: RecFamily> { /* private fields */ }
Expand description

Stack-borrowed emitter handed to flat_map closures. Parameterized by the output family (a 'static tag), so user closures never name the concrete downstream stack type or the buffer lifetime. Each emit is one virtual call, confined to flat_map stages.

Implementations§

Source§

impl<OutF: RecFamily> Emitter<'_, OutF>

Source

pub fn emit<'buf>(&mut self, payload: OutF::Rec<'buf>) -> Flow

Emit one derived record, inheriting the parent’s metadata and ack handle.

Source

pub fn meta(&self) -> RecordMeta

The parent record’s metadata.
