#[non_exhaustive]pub struct SplitProgress {
pub watermark: i64,
pub state: Vec<u8>,
pub completed: bool,
}Expand description
One split’s durable progress, written through the fenced
commit and handed to the next owner in
CoordinationEvent::Gained.
The state payload is opaque to the framework and to backends —
arbitrary bytes, no encoding constraint. The source owns its schema;
keeping it opaque is what keeps connector types out of spate-core’s
public API.
Fields (Non-exhaustive)§
This struct is marked as non-exhaustive
Non-exhaustive structs could have additional fields added in future. Therefore, non-exhaustive structs cannot be constructed in external crates using the traditional
Struct { .. } syntax; cannot be matched against without a wildcard ..; and struct update syntax will not work.watermark: i64Committable watermark: one past the last acknowledged record, in the source’s own offset encoding. Backends enforce that it never decreases across a split’s committed history.
state: Vec<u8>Source-defined opaque resume state.
completed: boolBounded jobs: this split is fully delivered and committed. Terminal — a backend never re-offers a completed split.
