One idea from a brainstorm: existing pieces, paired in a way that has not been done.

combines is the load bearing field. The premise of spar brainstorm is that the parts of an answer already exist and have not been put together, so an idea that cannot name its parts is a wish rather than a proposal, and why_new has to say what the nearest existing thing is rather than assert novelty.
