Struct Effort

Source
pub struct Effort {
    pub primary: Option<String>,
    pub fallback: Option<String>,
    pub kind: &'static str,
    pub subject: Option<i64>,
    /* private fields */
}
Expand description

What one call asks for, and what its stand in would ask for.

Two values rather than one because a fallback runs a different CLI, whose effort words are its own. Handing the primary’s word to it is wrong, and dropping the schedule at the handover, which is what happened before, makes a fallback ignore a configuration it has its own answer for.

Fields§

§primary: Option<String>§fallback: Option<String>§kind: &'static str

The kind of call, as the effort schedule names it. Carried here because every call site already builds one of these, and the accounting needs to know what it was asked, not only who was asked.

§subject: Option<i64>

The issue or pull request the call is about, when it is about one.

Implementations§

Source§

impl Effort

Source

pub fn just(primary: Option<String>) -> Self

One value, for a call with no fallback to think about.

Source

pub fn about(self, subject: i64) -> Self

Say which issue or pull request this call is about.

Source

pub fn describe(&self) -> &str

For a log line naming what a call was asked for.
