pub struct HealthCheckHeaderValue {
pub name: String,
pub value: Vec<u8>,
}Expand description
Protected ingress/IPC carrier of one health-check header value: the clear
bytes travel in SetProtectedHealthCheck from the operator to the main
process and are moved out into a SecretValue at once. It is the
HealthCheckHeaderValue message of command.proto (name = 1,
value = 2, both required) with a hand-written Message impl, mapped to
the generated path by command/build.rs.
prost’s generated decode replaces a populated bytes field with clear,
reserve, put, so a reallocation frees the old buffer before any Drop
runs. This impl wipes the value before it is replaced, cleared, or kept
after a failed decode, and reads the new value straight from the input
buffer into the field, with no intermediate copy.
Fields§
§name: String§value: Vec<u8>Never serialized, never read back: serde refuses it in both directions instead of rendering it, so it can never be saved or printed as JSON.

The ingress value is a secret: Debug prints a bounded name and a fixed
placeholder, never the bytes and never their length.

Source§impl Drop for HealthCheckHeaderValue
A carrier owns clear bytes: whichever way it ends, by a refused order, a
finished encode or a plain drop, its buffer is zeroed first. Clone is
derived, and every clone is a carrier with this same Drop.
