NearbyEntitySelector

Struct NearbyEntitySelector

Source
pub struct NearbyEntitySelector<S, M, ES> { /* private fields */ }
Expand description

An entity selector that returns entities nearby to an origin entity.

The origin entity is obtained from a mimic recorder, allowing this selector to be synchronized with another selector that picks the “current” entity.

§Zero-Erasure Design

The child entity selector ES is stored as a concrete generic type parameter, eliminating virtual dispatch overhead when iterating over candidate entities.

Implementations§

Source§

impl<S, M, ES> NearbyEntitySelector<S, M, ES>

Source

pub fn new( child: ES, origin_recorder: MimicRecorder, distance_meter: M, config: NearbySelectionConfig, ) -> Self

Creates a new nearby entity selector.
