pub enum MarkStatus {
Verified,
Confirmed,
WrongKey,
AmountMismatch,
Unconfirmed,
NotFound,
BrokenLink,
}Expand description
What a verifier found for one mark.
as_str gives blocktrails/verify’s label for each outcome
it has; BrokenLink is this crate’s addition (see
there).
Variants§
Verified
Confirmed, the amount matches, and the output is the recomputed key.
Confirmed
Confirmed and the amount matches, but the commitment was not checked (the trail could not be walked, or the output could not be read).
WrongKey
The output is not the key the states derive: the mark does not commit to its state.
AmountMismatch
Confirmed, but the output does not carry the amount the trail records.
Unconfirmed
In the mempool, not yet in a block.
NotFound
The transaction is not on the chain (or could not be reached).
BrokenLink
The mark does not spend the previous mark. blocktrails/verify 043e7af shows this (“chain link ✗”) but still labels such a mark verified; this crate counts it as a failure, since its README states that a verified trail has its mark chain intact.
