WordInterner

Struct WordInterner

Source
pub struct WordInterner { /* private fields */ }
Expand description

Hands out one Word per distinct value, so repeated stack words are stored once.

One interner covers one trace being built or parsed; it is dropped with the loop that filled it, and the words it handed out live as long as the steps holding them.

Implementations§

Source§

impl WordInterner

Source

pub fn new() -> Self

Source

pub fn intern(&mut self, word: &str) -> Word

The shared word equal to word, interning it the first time it is seen.

Source

pub fn intern_stack(&mut self, stack: &mut [Word])

Interns a whole stack, in place.

Source

pub fn len(&self) -> usize

How many distinct words have been interned.

Source

pub fn is_empty(&self) -> bool
