SplitReader

Struct SplitReader

Source
pub struct SplitReader<S> { /* private fields */ }
Expand description

The read half of a split WebSocket stream

Created by calling split() on a WebSocketStream. This half owns the read side of the TCP stream and can operate completely independently from the write half.

Implementations§

Source§

impl<S> SplitReader<S>
where S: AsyncRead + AsyncWrite + Unpin,

Source

pub async fn next(&mut self) -> Option<Result<Message>>

Receive the next message

Returns None when the connection is closed. This method NEVER blocks the writer - true concurrent I/O!

Source

pub fn is_closed(&self) -> bool

Check if the connection is closed
