pub enum RecoveryTarget {
Lsn(u64),
Timestamp(u64),
}Expand description
A Point-in-Time Recovery target (Task 3B PITR). See
TxnWal::replay_to_target for the prefix semantics.
Variants§
Lsn(u64)
Recover the first lsn WAL records (exact). Matches the value of
DurableStorage::current_lsn() captured at the desired point.
Timestamp(u64)
Roll the WAL forward and STOP at the first transaction whose COMMIT
timestamp (microseconds since the epoch) exceeds this value — that
transaction and everything after it are excluded. This is an exact
WAL-order PREFIX, NOT a timestamp filter: if commit timestamps are
non-monotonic in WAL order (coarse ~1ms clock, NTP steps, cross-thread
group commit), a later-in-WAL transaction with ts <= t that follows an
excluded commit is ALSO excluded. Prefer Lsn for an exact, clock-
independent cut.
