HashMap

In-memory HashMap (default, fast but uses ~50MB per 1M payloads)

DiskHash

Disk-backed hash table (scales to billions, minimal RAM) Uses a memory-mapped open-addressing hash table with linear probing. Zero external dependencies — replaces sled with a purpose-built structure optimized for fixed-size PayloadMeta records.
