Expand description

Represents a Data SM Request PDU.

Used to transfer data between the SMSC and the ESME. It is an alternative to SubmitSm and DeliverSm.

Fields§

§sequence_number: u32

Sequence number of the PDU

§service_type: String

Service Type

§source_addr_ton: Ton

Source Address Type of Number

§source_addr_npi: Npi

Source Address Numbering Plan Indicator

§source_addr: String

Source Address

§dest_addr_ton: Ton

Destination Address Type of Number

§dest_addr_npi: Npi

Destination Address Numbering Plan Indicator

§dest_addr: String

Destination Address

§esm_class: u8

ESM Class

§registered_delivery: u8

Registered Delivery

§data_coding: u8

Data Coding Scheme

§optional_params: Vec<Tlv>

Optional Parameters (Payload goes here via ‘message_payload’)

Implementations§

Source§

impl DataSm

Source

pub fn new( sequence_number: u32, source_addr: String, dest_addr: String, payload: Vec<u8>, ) -> Self

Create a new Data SM Request.

§Examples
use smpp_codec::pdus::DataSm;

let pdu = DataSm::new(
    1,
    "Source".to_string(),
    "Dest".to_string(),
    b"Payload".to_vec(),
);
Source

pub fn add_tlv(&mut self, tlv: Tlv)

Add a TLV to the optional parameters.

Source

pub fn encode(&self, writer: &mut impl Write) -> Result<(), PduError>

Encode the PDU into the writer.

§Errors

Returns a PduError if the write fails.

Source

pub fn decode(buffer: &[u8]) -> Result<Self, PduError>

Decode the PDU from the buffer.

§Errors

Returns a PduError if the buffer is too short or malformed.
