PushReportRef

Struct PushReportRef

Source
pub struct PushReportRef {
    pub src: Option<String>,
    pub dst: String,
    pub old_id: ObjectId,
    pub new_id: ObjectId,
    pub forced: bool,
    pub status: PushRefStatus,
}
Expand description

One ref’s line in git’s push status report. Carries everything print_one_push_report needs: the source (“from”) ref, the destination (“to”) ref, the old/new object ids, whether the update was forced, whether it is a deletion, and the classified PushRefStatus.

Fields§

§src: Option<String>

The local source ref name (git’s ref->peer_ref->name), e.g. refs/heads/main. None for a deletion (git prints :dst).

§dst: String

The destination ref name (git’s ref->name), e.g. refs/heads/main.

§old_id: ObjectId

The remote’s old object id for dst (zero for a create).

§new_id: ObjectId

The object id installed at dst (zero for a delete).

§forced: bool

True when the update overwrote a non-fast-forward (git’s forced_update).

§status: PushRefStatus

The classified outcome.

Implementations§

Source§

impl PushReportRef

Source

pub fn is_deletion(&self) -> bool

Whether this ref is a deletion (new id is the zero oid).

Source

pub fn had_error(&self) -> bool

Whether this ref’s status counts as a push error (git’s push_had_errors: anything that is not Ok/UpToDate/none).
