}Expand description
The split of a commit/tag message into the regions git’s for-each-ref atoms
expose, mirroring ref-filter.c find_subpos.
Fields§
§subject: &'a [u8]The subject line(s), with no trailing newline (raw bytes; callers run
for_each_ref_copy_subject to collapse embedded newlines).
body_without_sig: &'a [u8]%(contents:body) — body with the signature removed.
body_with_sig: &'a [u8]%(body) (legacy) — body including the signature.
signature: &'a [u8]%(contents:signature) — the trailing signature block (may be empty).
bare: &'a [u8]%(contents) / %(contents:size) — the message from the subject start
(after leading blank lines) to the end.
