pub struct InteractionStrength;Expand description
Interaction strength between a single pair of features.
Implementations§
Source§impl InteractionStrength
impl InteractionStrength
Sourcepub fn compute_strength(
features: &ArrayView2<'_, f64>,
target: &ArrayView1<'_, f64>,
feature1: usize,
feature2: usize,
) -> SklResult<f64>
pub fn compute_strength( features: &ArrayView2<'_, f64>, target: &ArrayView1<'_, f64>, feature1: usize, feature2: usize, ) -> SklResult<f64>
Compute the interaction strength between two specific features.
Returns the absolute interaction information |II(X_i; X_j; Y)| for the pair
(feature1, feature2) — a non-negative measure of how strongly the two
features interact with respect to the target (regardless of synergy vs
redundancy). Returns an error if either index is out of bounds or the data is
empty.
