TwoSided
Two-sided test: group means are not equal (μ₁ ≠ μ₂).
Most common choice for differential expression analysis.
Less
One-sided test: group 1 mean is less than group 2 (μ₁ < μ₂).
Use when: You specifically want to test for downregulation.
Greater
One-sided test: group 1 mean is greater than group 2 (μ₁ > μ₂).
Use when: You specifically want to test for upregulation.
