#[non_exhaustive]pub enum Method {
Simplex,
BigM,
TwoPhase,
}Expand description
Which variant of the simplex method to run.
More methods (such as the dual simplex) may be added in minor releases.
Variants (Non-exhaustive)§
This enum is marked as non-exhaustive
Non-exhaustive enums could have additional variants added in future. Therefore, when matching against variants of non-exhaustive enums, an extra wildcard arm must be added to account for any future variants.
Simplex
Primal simplex. Only for problems whose constraints are all <= with a non-negative
right-hand side after normalization (the slacks give the starting basis).
BigM
Big-M method, with M kept symbolic (no numeric value is ever chosen).
TwoPhase
Two-phase method. Falls back to a single phase when no artificial variable is needed.
