Struct Header

Source
pub struct Header<'a> {
    pub flags: Flags,
    pub entries: &'a [Entry],
    pub options: &'a [Options],
}
Expand description

An SD header that borrows its entries and options slices.

Used for constructing and encoding outgoing SD messages. For zero-copy parsing of incoming SD messages, see SdHeaderView.

Fields§

§flags: Flags

The SD flags byte (reboot + unicast).

§entries: &'a [Entry]

The SD entries.

§options: &'a [Options]

The SD options.

Implementations§

Source§

impl<'a> Header<'a>

Source

pub const fn new( flags: Flags, entries: &'a [Entry], options: &'a [Options], ) -> Self

Creates a new SD header from the given flags, entries, and options.

Source§

type Error = Error

Per-implementation error; constructible from an I/O embedded_io::ErrorKind so the fixed-width write_* leaf helpers lift through ?. Read more

fn encode_to_slice( &self, buf: &mut [u8], ) -> Result<usize, EncodeToSliceError<Self::Error>>

Encode into a fixed slice, reporting needed/available (InsufficientBuffer) instead of a bare embedded_io::ErrorKind::WriteZero when the slice is too small, and hiding the &mut &mut [u8] cursor re-borrow every fixed-buffer call site otherwise writes by hand. Read more
