SuperTableV

Struct SuperTableV

Source
pub struct SuperTableV {
    pub slices: Vec<TableV>,
    pub len: usize,
}
Expand description

§SuperTableView

Borrowed view over [offset .. offset + len) rows from a SuperTable, potentially spanning multiple table batches (TableV slices).

§Purpose

  • Mini-batch representation of a single logical Table or SuperTable batch.
  • Allows preserving cached metadata (e.g. null counts) across multiple regions without merging or cloning data.

§Fields

  • slices: constituent TableV slices covering the window.
  • len: logical row count of this view.

§Notes

  • Use chunks / iter for slice-level access.
  • Random row access via row / row_slice.
  • Create smaller windows via slice without data copies.

Fields§

§slices: Vec<TableV>§len: usize

Implementations§

Source§

impl SuperTableV

Source

pub fn is_empty(&self) -> bool

Source

pub fn n_slices(&self) -> usize

Source

pub fn cols(&self) -> Vec<Arc<Field>>

Returns the columns of the Super Table

Holds an assumption that all inner tables have the same fields

Source

pub fn chunks(&self) -> impl Iterator<Item = &TableV>

Iterator over slice‐level TableSlices.

Source

pub fn slice(&self, offset: usize, len: usize) -> SuperTableV

Returns a sub-window of this chunked slice object as a new ChunkedTableSlice.

Source

pub fn row(&self, row_idx: usize) -> TableV

Random-access a single row (as a zero-copy TableSlice of length 1).

Source

pub fn iter(&self) -> impl Iterator<Item = TableV>

Iterate through all TableSlices in this slice.

Source

pub fn row_slice(&self, row: usize) -> TableV

Return a zero-copy TableSlice of exactly one row by global row index.

Source

pub fn n_rows(&self) -> usize

Returns the total number of rows in the Super table across all chunks

Source

pub fn n_cols(&self) -> usize

Returns the number of columns in the Super table.

Assumes that every chunk has the same column schema as per the semantic requirement.

impl Concatenate for SuperTableV

Source§

fn concat(self, other: SuperTableV) -> Result<SuperTableV, MinarrowError>

Concatenates two super table views by materialising both to owned tables, concatenating them, and wrapping the result back in a view.

§Notes
  • This operation copies data from both views to create owned tables.
  • The resulting view contains a single slice wrapping the concatenated table.
Source§

impl Consolidate for SuperTableV

Source§

fn consolidate(self) -> Table

Consolidates all view slices into a single contiguous Table.

Creates a SuperTable from the views and consolidates it. The result table is named “part” to indicate it’s a partial/consolidated view.

Source§

type Output = Table

The type produced after consolidation.
