ReaderBuilder

Struct ReaderBuilder

Source
pub struct ReaderBuilder { /* private fields */ }
Expand description

Builds a Reader with given configuration.

Implementations§

Source§

impl ReaderBuilder

Source

pub fn new() -> Self

Create a new ReaderBuilder with default configuration.

Source

pub fn with_capacity(capacity: usize) -> Self

Create a new ReaderBuilder with provided capacity.

Source

pub fn delimiter(&mut self, delimiter: u8) -> &mut Self

Set the delimiter to be used by the created Reader.

This delimiter must be a single byte.

Will default to a comma.

Source

pub fn quote(&mut self, quote: u8) -> &mut Self

Set the quote char to be used by the created Reader.

This char must be a single byte.

Will default to a double quote.

Source

pub fn buffer_capacity(&mut self, capacity: usize) -> &mut Self

Set the capacity of the created Reader’s buffered reader.

Source

pub fn flexible(&mut self, yes: bool) -> &mut Self

Indicate whether the created Reader should be “flexible”, i.e. whether it should allow reading records having different number of fields than the first one.

Will default to false.

Source

pub fn has_headers(&mut self, yes: bool) -> &mut Self

Indicate whether first record must be understood as a header.

Will default to true.

Source

pub fn from_reader<R: Read>(&self, reader: R) -> Reader<R>

Create a new Reader using the provided reader implementing std::io::Read.

Source

pub fn reverse_from_reader<R: Read + Seek>( &self, reader: R, ) -> Result<ReverseReader<R>>

Create a new ReverseReader using the provided reader implementing both std::io::Read and std::io::Seek.
