ShapeBindings

Struct ShapeBindings

Source
pub struct ShapeBindings { /* private fields */ }
Expand description

Captures produced by a successful match: named values and named exprs.

A match binds names to either runtime Values or unevaluated Exprs; the bindings can later be projected into an Env.

Implementations§

Source§

impl ShapeBindings

Source

pub fn new() -> Self

Create an empty set of bindings.

Source

pub fn bind_value(&mut self, name: Symbol, value: Value)

Bind a name to a runtime Value.

Source

pub fn bind_expr(&mut self, name: Symbol, expr: Expr)

Bind a name to an unevaluated Expr.

Source

pub fn extend(&mut self, other: ShapeBindings)

Append all bindings from other into this set.

Source

pub fn values(&self) -> &[(Symbol, Value)]

The value bindings, in insertion order.

Source

pub fn exprs(&self) -> &[(Symbol, Expr)]

The expr bindings, in insertion order.

Source

pub fn into_env(self, cx: &mut Cx) -> Result<()>

Install these bindings as a fresh child of the context’s current env.

Source

pub fn into_child_env(self, cx: &mut Cx) -> Result<Env>

Build a child Env from the context’s env populated with these bindings, without installing it.
