How a transport-level failure occurred, which decides whether it may be retried.

Variants§

§

Connect

The connection was never established. Safe to retry for every endpoint.

§

MidFlight

The request was in flight when the failure occurred. Only idempotent endpoints retry.

§

Timeout

The per-attempt timeout elapsed.
