pub struct Config { /* private fields */ }Available on Unix only.
Expand description
Terminal configuration.
Implementations§
Source§impl Config
impl Config
Sourcepub fn from_term(file: &OpenFile) -> Result<Self, Error>
pub fn from_term(file: &OpenFile) -> Result<Self, Error>
Creates a new Config from the actual terminal attributes of the
terminal associated with the given file descriptor.
§Arguments
file- A reference to the open terminal.
§Errors
Returns an error if the file’s descriptor cannot be borrowed, or
crate::error::ErrorKind::PlatformError wrapping the OS error if
tcgetattr fails, for example because the file is not a terminal.
Sourcepub fn apply_to_term(&self, file: &OpenFile) -> Result<(), Error>
pub fn apply_to_term(&self, file: &OpenFile) -> Result<(), Error>
Applies the terminal settings to the terminal associated with the given file descriptor.
§Arguments
file- A reference to the open terminal.
§Errors
Returns an error if the file’s descriptor cannot be borrowed, or
crate::error::ErrorKind::PlatformError wrapping the OS error if
tcsetattr fails.
