LifecycleStep

Struct LifecycleStep

Source
pub struct LifecycleStep {
    pub subject: Subject,
    pub phase: Phase,
    pub client_key: Option<ClientOrderKey>,
}
Expand description

A lifecycle transition and the subject it concerns.

Fields§

§subject: Subject§phase: Phase§client_key: Option<ClientOrderKey>

The intent key an agent attached to this transition. Read only on Phase::Submission; carried on the step rather than inside the phase so a record written before the field existed still parses and still serializes byte-identically when absent.

Absent means the agent claimed nothing, which is the honest default: a missing key is never treated as matching another missing key.

Implementations§

Source§

impl LifecycleStep

Source

pub fn new(subject: Subject, phase: Phase) -> Self

Convenience constructor. The step carries no intent key.

Source

pub fn with_client_key(self, key: ClientOrderKey) -> Self

Attach the intent key this submission carried.
