Circuit state: accepting calls, rejecting calls, or testing recovery.

Variants§

§

Closed

Calls flow normally.

§

Open

Calls are rejected after the failure threshold was reached.

§

HalfOpen

A trial call is allowed to test whether the backend recovered.
