Scope for enumeration and deletion checks. Filters retain filesystem semantics. Roots identify a resource or hierarchical URI/path descendants for deletion. DiscoveryOptions remains a filesystem-specific boundary leak.

Unstable: may change before 1.0; filesystem is the only supported provider.
