pub struct Serializer<S> {
    pub ser: S,
    pub red_zone: usize,
    pub stack_size: usize,
}
Expand description

Serializer adapter that avoids stack overflows by dynamically growing the stack.

At each level of nested serialization, the adapter will check whether it is within red_zone bytes of the end of the stack. If so, it will allocate a new stack of size stack_size on which to continue deserialization.

Fields§

§ser: S§red_zone: usize§stack_size: usize

Implementations§

source§

impl<S> Serializer<S>

source

pub fn new(serializer: S) -> Self

Build a serializer adapter with reasonable default red_zone (64 KB) and stack_size (2 MB).

Trait Implementations§

source§

impl<S> Serializer for Serializer<S>
where S: Serializer,

§

type Ok = <S as Serializer>::Ok

The output type produced by this Serializer during successful serialization. Most serializers that produce text or binary output should set Ok = () and serialize into an io::Write or buffer contained within the Serializer instance. Serializers that build in-memory data structures may be simplified by using Ok to propagate the data structure around.
§

type Error = <S as Serializer>::Error

The error type when some error occurs during serialization.
§

type SerializeSeq = SerializeSeq<<S as Serializer>::SerializeSeq>

Type returned from serialize_seq for serializing the content of the sequence.
§

type SerializeTuple = SerializeTuple<<S as Serializer>::SerializeTuple>

Type returned from serialize_tuple for serializing the content of the tuple.
§

type SerializeTupleStruct = SerializeTupleStruct<<S as Serializer>::SerializeTupleStruct>

Type returned from serialize_tuple_struct for serializing the content of the tuple struct.
§

type SerializeTupleVariant = SerializeTupleVariant<<S as Serializer>::SerializeTupleVariant>

Type returned from serialize_tuple_variant for serializing the content of the tuple variant.
§

type SerializeMap = SerializeMap<<S as Serializer>::SerializeMap>

Type returned from serialize_map for serializing the content of the map.
§

type SerializeStruct = SerializeStruct<<S as Serializer>::SerializeStruct>

Type returned from serialize_struct for serializing the content of the struct.
§

type SerializeStructVariant = SerializeStructVariant<<S as Serializer>::SerializeStructVariant>

Type returned from serialize_struct_variant for serializing the content of the struct variant.
