pub enum HandlerError {
Retry(String),
RetryAfter(String, Duration),
Permanent(String),
}Expand description
The error a job handler returns to nack its job, choosing how it should be retried.
Each variant maps to a RetryDirective:
Retry → Default, RetryAfter →
After, Permanent → DeadLetter. Use the
retry, retry_after, and
permanent constructors rather than the variants
directly.
Variants§
Retry(String)
Retry using the queue’s default retry policy.
RetryAfter(String, Duration)
Retry, but not before the given delay.
Permanent(String)
Do not retry; dead-letter the job immediately.
