#[non_exhaustive]pub enum DeadLetterCause {
Unspecified,
AttemptsExhausted,
Rejected,
LeaseExpired,
Admin,
}Expand description
Why a job was moved to the server’s dead-letter store.
Variants (Non-exhaustive)§
This enum is marked as non-exhaustive
Non-exhaustive enums could have additional variants added in future. Therefore, when matching against variants of non-exhaustive enums, an extra wildcard arm must be added to account for any future variants.
Unspecified
The cause was unset — an unknown or future variant.
AttemptsExhausted
The job exhausted its max attempts across nacks and redeliveries.
Rejected
A worker nacked with
RetryDirective::DeadLetter,
skipping its remaining attempts.
LeaseExpired
The lease expired while the job was on its final attempt.
Admin
An operator dead-lettered the job through the admin API.
