Expand description

Errors returned by safe TurboQuant codec primitives.

Variants§

§

InvalidBitWidth

Bit widths must be in the inclusive 2..=4 range.

Fields

§bits: u8

Rejected bit width.

§

InvalidDimension

Vector dimensions must be non-zero and no larger than MAX_VECTOR_DIMENSION.

Fields

§dimension: usize

Rejected dimension.

§max: usize

Maximum accepted dimension.

§

ByteLengthMismatch

Caller-supplied packed bytes did not match the codec shape.

Fields

§expected: usize

Expected byte length for the requested packed-code operation.

§actual: usize

Actual byte length supplied by the caller.

§

SizeOverflow

Packed-code storage size overflowed usize.

§

RowOutOfBounds

Requested row is outside the packed-code matrix.

Fields

§row: usize

Requested row.

§rows: usize

Number of rows stored.

§

DimensionOutOfBounds

Requested dimension is outside the packed-code matrix.

Fields

§dimension: usize

Requested dimension.

§dimensions: usize

Number of dimensions stored per row.

§

InvalidCode

A code exceeded the active bit width’s maximum representable code.

Fields

§code: u8

Rejected code.

§max: u8

Maximum accepted code for this bit width.

§

NonFiniteValue

A value that must be finite was not finite.

Fields

§value: f32

Non-finite value.
