Two ops in the batch overlap in the pre-edit document — a programmer error (the cursor layer must produce disjoint ops).

The range that overlapped it.

WouldOverflow

The batch would grow the document past the u32 offset space — the representational bound (offsets are u32), not a policy limit. There is no separate document-size cap, so a large paste is what reaches this.
