#[non_exhaustive]pub enum Mode {
Request,
Response,
ResponseWithoutDefaults,
}Expand description
Request normalization or tolerant response decoding.
Variants (Non-exhaustive)§
This enum is marked as non-exhaustive
Request
Request normalization with the selected contract’s strict format checks.
Response
Tolerant response decoding with frozen schema defaults applied, matching the source SDK’s default insertion. This is the default for typed responses.
Ignores uuid, rfc3339, datetime, date, duration, email, url, and
regex string checks while retaining string types and frozen string bounds.
This format policy deliberately differs from frozen TypeScript refinements.
Existing Red Team operations use their frozen TypeScript response schemas;
vendor-only operations retain vendor structure and types. Vendor-only string
length bounds are request-only. See the
G25 compatibility report.
ResponseWithoutDefaults
The same tolerant response validation as Mode::Response, accepting and
rejecting exactly the same documents, but a value absent from the input is
never materialized: schema defaults are still checked and then discarded, so
the normalized output contains only the object properties actually present.
Like Mode::Response, this ignores uuid, rfc3339, datetime, date,
duration, email, url, and regex string checks; vendor-only string
length bounds are request-only. See the
G25 compatibility report.
Typed operations select it with
RequestOptions::without_response_defaults.
