pub struct FunctionalRegression { /* private fields */ }Expand description
Scalar-on-function regression estimator.
Implementations§
Source§impl FunctionalRegression
impl FunctionalRegression
Sourcepub fn fit(
&mut self,
data: &[Vec<f64>],
response: &[f64],
grid: &[f64],
) -> StatsResult<FofResult>
pub fn fit( &mut self, data: &[Vec<f64>], response: &[f64], grid: &[f64], ) -> StatsResult<FofResult>
Fit the model.
§Arguments
data– observed functional predictors, shape(n_obs, n_time). Each row is a discretised curve X_i(t).response– scalar response values, lengthn_obs.grid– time points at which the curves are observed, lengthn_time.
§Errors
Returns StatsError when dimensions are inconsistent, n_time < 2,
n_obs < n_basis + 1, or the penalised system is singular.
