pub struct DiD;Expand description
Classic 2×2 Difference-in-Differences estimator.
The ATT is estimated via the two-way fixed effects regression: y_{it} = α_i + δ_t + β D_{it} + ε_{it} where D_{it} = 1 for treated units after treatment.
Provides a parallel-trends pre-test and ATT with standard errors.
Implementations§
Source§impl DiD
impl DiD
Sourcepub fn estimate(
y: &ArrayView1<'_, f64>,
treated: &ArrayView1<'_, f64>,
n_units: usize,
n_periods: usize,
treat_period: usize,
) -> StatsResult<DiDResult>
pub fn estimate( y: &ArrayView1<'_, f64>, treated: &ArrayView1<'_, f64>, n_units: usize, n_periods: usize, treat_period: usize, ) -> StatsResult<DiDResult>
Estimate the ATT.
§Arguments
y– outcome vector (n × T flattened, row-major: unit i at time t → index i*T + t)treated– binary indicator for each unit (length n_units); 1 = treatedn_units– number of unitsn_periods– number of time periodstreat_period– the first period when treatment takes effect (0-indexed)
§Returns
DiDResult with ATT estimate and parallel-trends test.
