initial_sigma: f64Initial step size (sigma0). Default: 0.3.
max_fevals: usizeMaximum function evaluations.
ftol: f64Convergence tolerance on function value (not used directly but stored).
xtol: f64Convergence tolerance: stop when step size sigma < xtol.
seed: u64Random seed for reproducibility.
