#[non_exhaustive]pub enum CoordSelectionRule {
Random,
Cyclic,
GreedyGradient,
GreedyGauss,
StochasticGreedy,
}Expand description
Rule for selecting which coordinate to update at each iteration.
Variants (Non-exhaustive)§
This enum is marked as non-exhaustive
Non-exhaustive enums could have additional variants added in future. Therefore, when matching against variants of non-exhaustive enums, an extra wildcard arm must be added to account for any future variants.
Random
Select coordinate uniformly at random.
Cyclic
Cycle through all coordinates in order 0, 1, …, n-1, 0, 1, …
GreedyGradient
Select coordinate with largest absolute gradient component.
GreedyGauss
Gauss-Southwell rule: select i = argmax_i |∂f/∂x_i|.
StochasticGreedy
Randomly sample greedy_subset_size coordinates, pick the one with largest |grad_i|.
