Serializable multi-step graph traversal (§16): start entities resolved by kind + name substring, then each step walks out / in / both edges (optional predicate filter, optional kind filter on the landing entity). Pure JSON — the fluent builder lives in SDKs, this AST is the wire contract every transport shares.

dir: String

Edge direction from the current frontier: out, in, or both.

predicate: Option<String>

Optional predicate filter (e.g. calls, writes).

where_kind: Option<String>

Optional kind filter on the landing entity (e.g. symbol, state).

limit: usize

Max edges followed per frontier entity per step (default 50).
