Configuration for exponential backoff with jitter.

Used by dialers to control reconnection timing after a connection is lost or a transport establishment fails.

The backoff formula is:

delay = min(initial_delay * 2^attempts, max_delay)
jittered_delay = delay * random(0.5, 1.0)

Fields

initial_delay: Duration

Delay before the first reconnection attempt.

max_delay: Duration

Maximum delay between reconnection attempts.

max_retries: Option<u32>

Maximum number of reconnection attempts before giving up. None means retry forever.
