#[non_exhaustive]pub struct AppendAck {
pub start: StreamPosition,
pub end: StreamPosition,
pub tail: StreamPosition,
}Expand description
Acknowledgement for an AppendInput.
Fields (Non-exhaustive)§
This struct is marked as non-exhaustive
Non-exhaustive structs could have additional fields added in future. Therefore, non-exhaustive structs cannot be constructed in external crates using the traditional
Struct { .. } syntax; cannot be matched against without a wildcard ..; and struct update syntax will not work.start: StreamPositionSequence number and timestamp of the first record that was appended.
end: StreamPositionSequence number of the last record that was appended + 1, and timestamp of the last record that was appended.
The difference between end.seq_num and start.seq_num will be the number of records
appended.
tail: StreamPositionSequence number that will be assigned to the next record on the stream, and timestamp of the last record on the stream.
This can be greater than the end position in case of concurrent appends.
