Expand description

The ownership/borrow state of a variable (V2 - uses VarId).

Variants§

§

Owned

Variable owns its value (T).

§

SharedRef

Variable is a shared reference (&T).

Fields

§source: VarId

The variable being borrowed from.

§start_line: u32

Line where the borrow started.

§

MutRef

Variable is a mutable reference (&mut T).

Fields

§source: VarId

The variable being borrowed from.

§start_line: u32

Line where the borrow started.

§

Moved

Ownership has been moved to another variable.

Fields

§to: VarId

The variable that now owns the value.

§at_line: u32

Line where the move occurred.

§

Dropped

Variable has been dropped (out of scope).

Fields

§at_line: u32

Line where the drop occurred.

§

Copied

Copy semantics - value was copied, original still valid.

Fields

§to: VarId

The variable that received the copy.

§at_line: u32

Line where the copy occurred.

Implementations§

Source§

impl BorrowStateV2

Source

pub fn can_read(&self) -> bool

Check if the variable can be used (read).

Source

pub fn can_mutate(&self) -> bool

Check if the variable can be mutated.

Source

pub fn is_invalidated(&self) -> bool

Check if the variable has been invalidated (moved or dropped).

Source

pub fn is_reference(&self) -> bool

Check if this is a reference (shared or mutable).

Source

pub fn borrow_source(&self) -> Option<VarId>

Get the source variable if this is a reference.
