RedisListPublisher

Struct RedisListPublisher

Source
pub struct RedisListPublisher { /* private fields */ }
Expand description

Publishes onto a list with LPUSH, so right-popping consumers see FIFO order: a RedisListPublish policy paired with a connection.

Obtain it from ConnectedRedisBroker::list_publisher, or by pairing the policy. Publishing after the connection was shut down reports RedisError::ShutDown.

Source§

impl Publisher for RedisListPublisher

Source§

type Payload = Lend

As on RedisPubSubPublisher: the entry the client is handed is an envelope this crate builds, so the payload is only read.

Source§

type Options = RedisPublishOptions

LPUSH carries the key and the value and nothing else; the key TTL is a property of the queue, fixed by the policy and re-armed on every publish. What a call site still says is the partition key, framed into the entry with the message’s other headers.

Source§

type Error = RedisError

The error type returned by publish.
Source§

async fn publish( &self, msg: OutgoingMessage<'_>, options: Option<&Self::Options>, ) -> Result<(), Self::Error>

Publishes a message to the broker, with the per-message settings the call site adjusted. Read more
Source§

fn base_headers(&self) -> Option<&HeaderMap>

The headers this publisher contributes to every message it sends, underneath whatever the message itself names. Read more

Source§

fn message<'a, T>( &'a self, value: &'a T, ) -> PublishBuilder<&'a Self, MessageBody<'a, T>, UnnamedCodec, HeadersUnset, <T as OutgoingDestination>::Form>

Starts a typed publish of a #[derive(Outgoing)] value, encoded with the crate’s default codec (name another one with with_codec(..)). A Serialized value’s bytes leave as they are instead - the wire is the type’s own (MessageWire), and no codec runs on it. Read more
