Alpaca option contract from the API response.
Represents a single option contract with its metadata.
Fields (Non-exhaustive)§
This struct is marked as non-exhaustive
Non-exhaustive structs could have additional fields added in future. Therefore, non-exhaustive structs cannot be constructed in external crates using the traditional
Struct { .. } syntax; cannot be matched against without a wildcard ..; and struct update syntax will not work.id: StringUnique contract identifier.
symbol: StringOCC symbol (e.g., “AAPL240119C00150000”).
name: StringHuman-readable name (e.g., “AAPL Jan 19 2024 150 Call”).
status: StringContract status (“active” or “inactive”).
tradable: boolWhether the contract is tradable.
expiration_date: NaiveDateExpiration date.
root_symbol: StringRoot symbol (e.g., “AAPL”).
underlying_symbol: StringUnderlying symbol.
underlying_asset_id: StringUnderlying asset ID.
option_type: StringOption type (“call” or “put”).
style: StringExercise style (“american” or “european”).
strike_price: DecimalStrike price.
size: DecimalContract multiplier (e.g., “100”).
open_interest: Option<Decimal>Open interest (number of outstanding contracts).
open_interest_date: Option<NaiveDate>Date of open interest data.
close_price: Option<Decimal>Previous close price.
close_price_date: Option<NaiveDate>Date of close price.
