#[non_exhaustive]pub struct LseBondYieldQuery {
pub country: SmolStr,
pub maturity: Option<SmolStr>,
pub start: NaiveDate,
pub end: NaiveDate,
}Expand description
A bond-yield request.
#[non_exhaustive]: construct with new and
with_maturity so a parameter added alongside a future provider filter
does not break callers.
Fields (Non-exhaustive)§
This struct is marked as non-exhaustive
Struct { .. } syntax; cannot be matched against without a wildcard ..; and struct update syntax will not work.country: SmolStrCountry code, in any spelling LseBondYieldStats::normalise_country accepts.
maturity: Option<SmolStr>Tenor label, or None for every tenor the country publishes.
Omitting it is a genuine bulk request: all of the United States over its full history is 76,406 rows across 15 tenors.
start: NaiveDateFirst date of the requested window, inclusive.
end: NaiveDateLast date of the requested window, inclusive.
Implementations§
Source§impl LseBondYieldQuery
impl LseBondYieldQuery
Sourcepub fn new(
country: impl Into<SmolStr>,
start: NaiveDate,
end: NaiveDate,
) -> Self
pub fn new( country: impl Into<SmolStr>, start: NaiveDate, end: NaiveDate, ) -> Self
A query for every tenor a country publishes, over [start, end] inclusive.
Narrow it to one tenor with with_maturity.
Sourcepub fn with_maturity(self, maturity: impl Into<SmolStr>) -> Self
pub fn with_maturity(self, maturity: impl Into<SmolStr>) -> Self
Restrict the query to one tenor, named as the provider labels it ("5Y", "10Y TIPS").
Sourcepub fn validate(&self, stats: &LseBondYieldStats) -> Result<(), LseError>
pub fn validate(&self, stats: &LseBondYieldStats) -> Result<(), LseError>
Check this query against the provider’s published coverage.
Called unconditionally by
fetch_bond_yields, so it cannot be skipped; it is
public so a caller can screen a batch of queries without spending a request on each.
Checks, in order: that the window is not inverted, that the country is published, that the tenor is published for it, and that the window overlaps that series’ own coverage. A partial overlap passes — it returns the rows that exist, which is what was asked for; only a disjoint window is rejected.
§Errors
LseError::InvalidInputifendprecedesstart.LseError::UnknownBondYieldCountryif the country is not published.LseError::UnknownBondYieldMaturityif the tenor is not published for that country.LseError::BondYieldRangeOutsideCoverageif the window is disjoint from the series’.LseError::Deserializeif a date instatsis not in the provider’s spelling.
