Mail

Struct Mail

Source
pub struct Mail;
Expand description

The entry point, in the shape Laravel’s Mail facade has.

Every constructor returns a Mailer; this type only exists so the call that picks a transport reads like the thing it does.

Implementations§

Source§

impl Mail

Source

pub fn from_config(config: &Config) -> Result<Mailer>

Build the transport named in mail.transport.

Source

pub fn fake() -> Mailer

Record instead of sending, for tests. This is Mail::fake().

Source

pub fn log() -> Mailer

Write each message to the log — the local development default.

Source

pub fn file(path: impl Into<PathBuf>) -> Mailer

Write one .eml per message under path.

Source

pub fn smtp(settings: SmtpConfig) -> Mailer

Talk to a real SMTP server.
