ScannerSpeed

Enum ScannerSpeed

Source
pub enum ScannerSpeed {
    Fastest,
    Fast,
    Default,
    Slow,
    Slowest,
}
Expand description

Scanner speed preset controlling throttling behavior.

Each preset defines three parameters:

  • sleep_factor: Multiplier applied to elapsed work time to compute inter-object sleep.
  • max_sleep: Upper bound on any single throttle sleep.
  • cycle_interval: Base delay between scan cycles.
PresetFactorMax SleepCycle Interval
fastest001 second
fast1x100ms1 minute
default2x1 second1 minute
slow10x15 seconds1 minute
slowest100x15 seconds30 minutes

The sleep factor, max sleep, and cycle interval can be overridden by RUSTFS_SCANNER_DELAY, RUSTFS_SCANNER_MAX_WAIT_SECS, and RUSTFS_SCANNER_CYCLE.
