SecretReference

Struct SecretReference

Source
pub struct SecretReference { /* private fields */ }
Expand description

Serializable reference to secret material, never the material itself.

Construction and deserialization validate the identifier. The restricted alphabet prevents paths, URLs, shell fragments, control characters, and accidental inline NAME=value secret material from entering a protocol.

Implementations§

Source§

impl SecretReference

Source

pub fn new( kind: SecretReferenceKind, name: impl Into<String>, ) -> Result<Self, SecretReferenceError>

§Errors

Returns SecretReferenceError for an empty, oversized, or unsafe identifier.

Source

pub fn kind(&self) -> SecretReferenceKind

Return the storage namespace.

Source

pub fn name(&self) -> &str
