pub trait TemporaryRefReconciler: Send {
// Required method
fn reconcile_temporary_ref(
&mut self,
request: &TemporaryRefReconcileRequest<'_>,
) -> Result<TemporaryRefReconciliation, TemporaryRefPublishError>;
}Expand description
Optional read-only crash-reconciliation boundary for temporary-ref publishers.
Implementations must not call back into the provider. Reconciliation may run while the provider holds the matching job state stable.
Required Methods§
Sourcefn reconcile_temporary_ref(
&mut self,
request: &TemporaryRefReconcileRequest<'_>,
) -> Result<TemporaryRefReconciliation, TemporaryRefPublishError>
fn reconcile_temporary_ref( &mut self, request: &TemporaryRefReconcileRequest<'_>, ) -> Result<TemporaryRefReconciliation, TemporaryRefPublishError>
Inspect one deterministic ref and adopt it only after exact prepared-commit verification.
Implementations must also revalidate the trusted workflow and prove that the requested
source revision remains an ancestor of the trusted ref, locally recompute the deterministic
commit, and compare it with expected_prepared_commit before returning exact evidence.
§Errors
Returns a redacted transport or local Git failure. A content mismatch is returned as
TemporaryRefReconciliation::Conflict, never as trusted publication evidence.
Dyn Compatibility§
This trait is dyn compatible.
In older versions of Rust, dyn compatibility was called "object safety".
