First2

Struct First2

Source
pub struct First2<'a, A, B> { /* private fields */ }
Expand description

First of two futures; the loser is dropped (unsubscribing its trigger).

The futures are boxed behind lifetime 'a rather than 'static (D82), so a future that borrows — a component’s run borrowing the tree, a sub-sequence borrowing its parent sequence — can be composed here. 'static futures satisfy any 'a, so every earlier caller is unaffected.

Trait Implementations§

Source§

impl<A, B> Future for First2<'_, A, B>

Source§

type Output = Either<A, B>

The type of value produced on completion.
Source§

fn poll(self: Pin<&mut Self>, cx: &mut Context<'_>) -> Poll<Self::Output>

Attempts to resolve the future to a final value, registering the current task for wakeup if the value is not yet available. Read more
