pub enum ChallengeType {
Http01,
TlsAlpn01,
Dns01,
DnsPersist01,
}acme only.Expand description
The ACME challenge rws answers (RFC 8555 §8, RFC 8737).
Variants§
Http01
A file at http://<domain>/.well-known/acme-challenge/ (port 80).
TlsAlpn01
A special certificate on the HTTPS port, for the acme-tls/1 ALPN
protocol (RFC 8737): no port 80 needed.
Dns01
A TXT record at _acme-challenge.<domain>: the only way to get a
wildcard certificate; no inbound port needed.
DnsPersist01
A TXT record at _validation-persist.<domain> naming the CA and the
ACME account, published once by you (draft-ietf-acme-dns-persist):
wildcards too, and no DNS credentials on the server. rws checks
that it’s there and prints it when it isn’t.
Implementations§
Source§impl ChallengeType
impl ChallengeType
Sourcepub fn parse(value: &str) -> Option<ChallengeType>
pub fn parse(value: &str) -> Option<ChallengeType>
http-01, tls-alpn-01, dns-01 or dns-persist-01 (any case).
Sourcepub fn configured() -> ChallengeType
pub fn configured() -> ChallengeType
The configured challenge (RWS_CONFIG_ACME_CHALLENGE), Http01 when
unset or unknown (rws --check reports an unknown one).
