pub enum ProtocolError {
InvalidResponse(String),
Json(Error),
Utf8(FromUtf8Error),
Base64(DecodeError),
}Expand description
Errors that occur while speaking the Minecraft wire protocol.
These errors indicate the server returned something unexpected — retrying the same request will almost certainly produce the same result.
Variants§
InvalidResponse(String)
The server’s response did not match the expected packet format.
Possible causes: the server runs a protocol version not supported by this library, a network appliance intercepted the connection, or the address is not a Minecraft server at all.
Json(Error)
The JSON payload in the Java status response could not be deserialised.
Utf8(FromUtf8Error)
The server’s response contained invalid UTF-8 bytes.
Base64(DecodeError)
Base64 decoding failed, typically when decoding a server favicon.
